Harry Dent is a highly successful and well respected long term economic forecaster, covering the global markets including Australia.  As a respected author of 5 highly acclaimed books on the subject of long term economic forecasting, his accuracy over the past 20 years has led him to be frequently interviewed by the Australian and US media on his forward predictions and market outlooks.

Dent’s methodology looks at changes in populations, changes in spending patterns, the economy, technical indicators and long term cycles.

Over the past 20 years Dent has accurately predicted the peak of the Japan market back in the 1990’s.  The start of the equity bull run of 2001, the peak in the property market in the US and finally forecasted the global recession of the world markets around the end of the decade back in 2002.
